  1. apply the selected mathematical strategies successfully to reach the authentic real-life situation.
  1. justify the degree of accuracy of the solution.
  1. Describe completely whether the solution makes sense in the context of the authentic real-life situation.

Criterion C & D: ​​Project on an exhibition budget
On a set budget of SEK 9,599 plan an exhibition day in Copenhagen 
use current exchange rates and a spreadsheet to set up their budget
Report—Where would you organise?—Comparative cost of living in different countries

Criterion D: ​ [Students are given the cost of basic goods in both countries Sweden & Danmark and average wages and must determine which place has the lowest cost for organising the event and which is comparatively the best value place.

Report on a travel budget

Assessment criteria:

D: Applying mathematics in real-life contexts

Criterion C & D: ​​Assignment —Travel Budget if you have been given SEK 10,000/person.

Given a set budget, students plan a holiday to at least 3 different countries that use a different currency to their own—they will use current exchange rates and a spreadsheet to set up their budget

Report—Where would you live?—Comparative cost of living in different countries.

Criterion D: ​ [Students are given the cost of basic goods in different countries and average wages and must determine which country has the lowest cost of living and which is comparatively the best value city to work and live in]
